This is a clip from Missing Teeth's reunion show at the Thirsty Dog last night. Missing Teeth were brilliant and rowdy as ever, playing their own mix of Hardcore Punk/Ska Punk. It was awesome to see them play again after a couple of years of nothing, they are playing another show in Wellington at Medusa on the 3rd of March so get down there! Pick Of The Litter Vol. 2 Compilation (2004)

This is an old PuppyKiller Record Compilation that came out in 2004 featuring 33 tracks from a range of bands (who are mostly defunct now) including Missing Teeth, Roofdog, Garage Fodder, Evil Priest, Poisoners, Army Of Darkness, Hung Jury, Malevolence, Horror Story and Mistaken Identity. Large range of styles played in this compilation, we need more like this. Decided to post this after watching an awesome Missing Teeth reunion show last night.

xFrankGrimesx - Pretty Buzzy (2011)

xFrankGrimesx were a raw Power Violence band from Christchurch who started in 2010 and broke up a little while ago at the beginning of the year. This was their 2nd and final CD complete with David Attenborough tribute song and a parody of Iron Lungs track Sexless//No Sex called Snackless//No Snacks. This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 1

This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 1 was released by Relapse Records in 2008, and was eventually followed by Vol. 1 and Vol. 3. The compilations focuses on Grindcore and Powerviolence, with bands such as Weekend Nachos, Agents of Satan and Spoonful of Vicodin to name a few. My favorite selection of tracks would have to be the Weekend Nachos songs, the Chainsaw to the Face tracks and the Insect Warfare tracks; but with 51 tracks its hard to be picky.

Anaal Nathrakh - In the Constellation of the Black Widow (2009)

Anaal Nathrakh are Black Metal  from the UK who formed in 1999, but have since changed their style incorporating grindcore and death metal to their sound. One of their members is also in one of my favorite bands, Fukpig. This is their 2009 album "In the Constellation of the Black Widow", which is my favorite release of theirs.

Excrementory Grindfuckers - Gore, Guts, Grind (2007)

Excrementory Grindfuckers are a band from Hannover, Germany. They formed in 2001, playing a ridiculous kind of grindcore with incredibly silly songs including Limp Bizkit covers and an awesome cover of "The Final Count Down" by Europe. Though silly, and clearly taking the piss to a large degree, they still play kickass grindcore. One of the band members also plays in another satirical band, which take the piss out of black metal called "Fog Power".

CaskGrinder - Songs Performed in the Beat of D (2010)

CaskGrinder are a New Zealand band based in Auckland, they play raw D-Beat with a heavy Cask Wine influence. They are fuckin' rad and play fuckin' fast. They formed around late 2009 and been playing since then. This is their 2010 demo, "Caskgrinder Perform Songs in the Beat of D" which was released on recycled tapes; my copy came on a dubbed over copy of "S-Club 7". Two of the songs on this demo can be found on the New Zealand hardcore punk compilation, "Welcome to the Arse End of the World", which was released by Always Never Fun Records in 2011.

Captain Cleanoff - Discography 1998-2001

Captain Cleanoff are an Australian Grindcore band that started in 1997. The Discography includes splits with Drunkard and Open Wound, a self titled album and a few live tracks etc.

Sanity's Dawn is a grindcore band from Hannover, Germany. They started in 1990. This album was released in 1998 and was in a gore-grind period that Sanitys Dawn went through.
